phoenix!

well, it looks like i'm moving to phoenix - it's not certain just yet, but we're placing the probability at 85%. here's the scoop, just in case anyone is still reading my woefully under-updated blog: so, i'm applying for this amazing job in phoenix, thanks to the glorious nate ewigman, who currently works in that job and is leaving in a few months for grad school.

as of last friday, i've been hired as a "consultant" with a work-to-hire clause in my contract, which means that at any point during my consultancy, they can choose to hire me permanently. but they do have to post the job publicly and accept other resumes, so it's not a certainty that i'll get the job, but since by the time the interviews roll around i will have already been doing the job for a month or more, my odds are pretty spectacular. so, yay! look at this gorgeous place where i get to live!
