Hi!
I was wondering what 'we can walk to the curb from here' actually means. I am not a native English speaker but I heard it in "Annie Hall" and tried to understand the funny part in it. All I could come up with was that it's an expression used back in the 50s.
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks!

Hi! Isn't Annie Hall a great movie? Here's the explanation: Alvy is making fun of Annie for parking too far away from the curb. She's a terrible driver, so the joke is that she parked so badly, so far away from the curb, that they actually have to walk from the car to the curb (when really the car should be right next to the curb). Make sense?
