I was at that Flaming Lips/Beck show at the Shnitzer Auditorium in Portland OR. They kick ass. You should see Fearless Freaks if you ever get a chance.
i can't believe i didn't know there was a flaming lips documentary. damn. don't worry, i just netflixed the shit out of it.
i saw flaming lips on the unlimited sunshine tour a few years back in ohio somewhere (cleveland?) and the flaming lips stole the damn show. wayne was wearing white head to toe, and when they did the spark that bled, he smeared fake blood all over his face and it dripped onto his suit...beautiful.
You have no fucking clue what you're getting yourself into with that documentary. Netflix it a couple of times if you have to. I saw it outside projected onto the wall of the gym at Reed on mushrooms. It might have been the greatest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
